Masks By Jen is the Fort Worth studio of artist Jennifer Harrison, where masquerade, costume, and decorative masks are designed and finished entirely by hand. What begins as a simple form becomes, layer by layer, a character - adorned with lace, feathers, metallics, and jewel tones chosen for the moment the mask is meant to serve.
Some pieces are made for a single unforgettable evening. Others are built for the stage, designed to read clearly under lights and survive a full run of performances. And some are created simply to be admired, as sculptural works for the wall. Every commission is treated as a story waiting to be worn.
The process is deliberate. Each mask is shaped, sealed, and sanded before any decoration begins, so the finished piece sits comfortably and holds its finish for years. Embellishment is done by hand - no two pieces leave the studio identical, and that is the point. Clients are welcomed into the process, sharing themes, palettes, and the occasion the mask will crown.
